As I launch into this new season on the podcast and transition into a ‘seasons’ format, I thought what better place to start than to take a deep dive into our homes.

The central space where so much life is lived, especially in these early days of motherhood. If you’re anything like me, you spend a lot of time at home and it’s important, crucial even, that the space we spend so much of our time is a space of joy and peace. A space that is thriving.

The thing about a thriving home is, it looks different for everyone. My thriving and your thriving are going to look very different, and that’s okay!

In this episode of the podcast, I share 5 questions you can ask yourself to take inventory and determine what a thriving home looks like for you, your family, and your season of life.

Whether you feel like your home is the most thriving place on earth or you’re finding yourself in the opposite camp and in need of a reset – answering these 5 questions will be so beneficial for you now and later on down the road.

Write them down, answer them honestly, and revisit them often to take inventory and check in with yourself and your home environment.

  • How does my home really feel?
  • How do I want my home?
  • What energy givers currently exist in my home?
  • What energy takers currently exist in my home?
  • Is Christ the center of my home?

Ready to dive even deeper into cultivating your thriving home? I created a resource just for you! Through Christ-centered mindset coaching and applicable tools for daily life, The Stay at Home Mom’s Guide to Thrive is a PDF e-course designed to take you from stressed out and overwhelmed to joy filled and thriving.

looking for something?

I think you'll love these

…and determined to give these good ol’ days everything I’ve got. As a mama in the thick of it with three kids under five, I’m no stranger to the struggle that motherhood often brings. Postpartum depression, anxiety, overwhelm, loneliness – they’re all a part of my story, but they’re not the whole story.

In a culture that wants to keep us focused on the hardest parts of motherhood, I’m here to help you flip the script and find the good, the joy, and the purpose in this season of raising babies.

counter-cultural motherhood, if you will.
